2015 – Aurelia Zirner

Magmatic fluid precipitates in Cyprus: Paul Ramdohr Award presented to Aurelia Zirner for her outstanding poster on the origin of anorthositic dykes.

The German Mineralogical Society presents the Paul Ramdohr Award to Aurelia Zirner in recognition of her outstanding achievements as an early-career scientist in the field of mineralogy.

Ms. Zirner particularly impressed the award committee at the GeoBerlin 2015 conference with her clear and informative poster, “Anorthositic Dykes in Cyprus – Precipitates of Magmatic Fluids?”

The DMG wishes Aurelia Zirner every success in her future scientific career.

Apply for the Early Career Award

Young DMG members can apply for the DMG Early Career Award with their contribution to the Annual Meeting. Applications must be submitted to the DMG President by the respective abstract deadline. The Award Committee selects the recipients for the best oral and poster presentations.
