DMG Courses –Where geoscientific expertise grows

Short Courses

Where geoscientific expertise thrives.

The German Mineralogical Society regularly supports doctoral courses and workshops in the geosciences. Student members of the DMG who do not reside in the city where the event is held may apply for a travel grant of up to €100, provided that no alternative funding is available from institutes or projects.

The course program is updated regularly. You can find the latest information on upcoming events here.

Funding for DMG Courses

The DMG provides financial support for selected courses. Funding is available in particular for travel expense subsidies for student DMG members and, if necessary, contributions toward organizational costs.

The process is handled by the respective course organizers. Detailed information on the reimbursement procedure will be provided once funding has been approved.

Student members of the DMG receive the same travel subsidy when attending courses offered by the DGGV or DGK as they do for courses in the DMG program.
