Tungsten isotope constraints on primitive achondrite differentiation: Paul Ramdohr Award presented to Dr. Toni Schulz for demonstrating rapid early accretion of planetesimals.

The Paul Ramdohr Award was presented to Dr. Toni Schulz (University of Bonn). He received the award in recognition of his presentation, “Thermal History and Differentiation of Primitive Achondrites,” delivered at the 85th Annual Meeting of the DMG in Berlin.

As part of his doctoral research, Dr. Schulz investigated the tungsten isotope systematics of primitive meteorites. His results demonstrate that the first asteroids, several kilometers in diameter, formed remarkably rapidly on a cosmic timescale—within the first two million years of the Solar System's history.
