The very first official YoungMins meeting took place June 9–11, 2023, at the Naturfreundehaus Hannover! Sixteen participants—ranging from undergraduate students to postdocs—met to discuss the needs of early-career researchers in mineralogy and to develop joint project ideas aimed at shaping the future of the next generation of mineralogists.
